We often want to focus on the distinguishable difference of wealth between the ' Haves & Have Nots'. But as a provider whose seen the spectrum let's discuss some contrasting points that have nothing to do with the money one has.
Proactivity: The willingness to try something NEW and give up the OLD. Committing to practices beyond the borders of their comfort zones for the sake of their desired destination.
Planning Priorities: There is a clear strategy to achieve the vision. Weaning out the practices that are actually distractions. Desired outcomes come to those who understand the relationship's true dynamic of guided support by way of resource provision, circumnavigation , and strategy- for the patient to actively achieve objective, not an expectation of the healthcare provider doing the work for the client/patient's convenience (the latter never works, by the way).
The ability to see the value in intangible things: We invest in what we deem invaluable, those things that increase our own value. What am I referring to, education! The education that helps you identify and shows you how to move towards / away from a destination.
It all boils down to perception-VISION & MINDSET. You want to change your environment? Then change it because you are the only thing that's standing in your way. Like the wise people of our time used to say, "Where there is a will, there is a way!"
